I love what I do and I love what I’m doing. I’m not afraid of the hard work, the long hours, or the stress of the job. But I am also very aware of the things that could go wrong and how I could potentially screw up. I’m also aware of the fact that I am a perfectionist and I work very carefully to do my best when it comes to the things that I do.
You can’t have it all, so you have to be good to a few of the things that you do not have. This is the basis of the concept of self-awareness.
So, a self-aware person may be able to look at themselves and see what they are doing wrong and then do more to improve the things that they are doing well. Or, they may simply take it a step further and see if they are doing the things that they are doing well, but seeing if they are doing the things that they are doing well with the right amount of self-awareness.
For example, if a self-aware person does a good job at driving and doesn’t have a lot of bad habits, they may just be going from one place to another more naturally. For example, a person who does a good job at driving may take a long time to stop, and someone who doesn’t have a lot of driving problems may just drive from one place to another more naturally.
